Welcome to the Carmel Valley Middle School 2026–2027 School Year!
Dear CVMS Families,
Welcome to a wonderful new school year! Whether your student is walking through our doors for the very first time or returning for their second year, the CVMS PTSA is absolutely thrilled to partner with you. Middle school is an incredible journey, and we are so glad to share it with your family.
Our mission is simple: to champion our students, empower our amazing teachers, and build a warm, inclusive community where everyone feels welcome. Thanks to family support, we are able to fund teacher mini-grants for vital classroom supplies, host memorable community events, and advocate for our kids every single day. But the true heart of our PTSA is you—we simply cannot do it without our incredible village!
We would love for you to join us in the PTSA Association this year. By jumping on board, you will:
Stay in the Loop: Get the inside scoop on school news, principal updates, and district changes so you always know what’s happening.

Bobcat Fridays
EVERY Friday is Bobcat Friday! Students who wear their Bobcat spirit wear on Fridays will be eligible to win prizes, attend special events, and earn special privileges. If you are interested in skipping the lines to purchase spirit wear at our on campus events, you can order online through our CVMS Webstore and pick up your merchandise at Orientation and/or Mosey Monday!
Bicycle Safety Training
On Monday, August 17, all PE classes will be recieving a presentation on Bicycle Safety through the San Diego County Bike Coalition. This course satisfies the educational district requirements for students desiring to travel to school on an electric vehicle. All students who are enrolled in ISPE will need to stay on campus and report to the gym for 6th period PE on that day.
Bobcat Big 8 Athletics
Big 8 Fall Sports registration is now open! We are looking forward to another exciting season with our Bobcat athletes! See the LINK for tryout dates and more information.
